I've been sowing it each year for the last two or three years - it's a staple in my green, purple and white colour scheme in the front garden. This time of year it's pretty nearly the best thing there apart from the purple heucheras! The Constant Gardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01219672153177538912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33596622.post-31758876729553524512008-09-17T18:32:00.000+01:002008-09-17T18:32:00.000+01:00Lovely photos. Strange since my other obsession is with tropical plants at the moment - and you couldn't get less tropical than a rose. And they're very cantankerous to grow. But you just forgive them as soon as they burst into flower somehow. My garden just wouldn't be the same without them. The Constant Gardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01219672153177538912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33596622.post-39030683462294449462008-09-16T01:12:00.000+01:002008-09-16T01:12:00.000+01:00I like your slide show, very nice variety of flowe...I like your slide show, very nice variety of flowersRusty in Miamihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17269773686173984184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33596622.post-60946948060862163872008-09-15T23:51:00.000+01:002008-09-15T23:51:00.000+01:00What a cool presentation! Hell of a commute in the morning - I have to get there by 9am so you can imagine how much fun that's going to be up the M25 and across the M4. It'll be worth it though - garden visits are on the curriculum!

glad you got the donation too - I just loved your open garden :DThe Constant Gardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01219672153177538912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33596622.post-55202739851387355202008-09-15T15:08:00.000+01:002008-09-15T15:08:00.000+01:00We have three plants in common (1 on my slideshow ...We have three plants in common (1 on my slideshow - Sedum 'Autumn Joy' + 2 that I didn't include - the Perovskia and Nasturtium) which goes to show that September needn't be lacking in blooms at all.
