Just watched the Kew film - fascinating! A bit Cholmondley Warner, but the colour is great. It reminds me of the Book Club gardening books from the 1950's & 60's, with the really vivid, almost poster-like repro! Lovely time lapse too.
hi Paul! it's wonderful, isn't it... and uncannily didn't feel too out of date, either: things don't change very much in gardening really, do they. You can look at it two ways - either we're part of a wonderful time continuum helping sustain the customs of ages, or there's nothing new under the sun!
