This is what's been cheering me up over the weekend.
Yep - the sun is out, the birds are singing, the ground has finally dried and I'm gardening again!
As you can see I haven't quite got round to the mulching yet but who cares?
I'm just happy to be outside again.
Anyone else noticed how particularly wonderful the snowdrops and crocuses (croci?) have been this spring? Is it something to do with the weather, or is it just me being so punch-drunk with seeing sunshine again that everything looks more sparkly than it ever has done before?

This winter seems to have dragged more than ever - I do think we've had a brilliant display of spring bulbs though.

I agree! Went to Hidcote on Sunday and everything looked amazing.
Great pictures. Why can't I get close ups to work like that?!
I think they've been particularly good this year. Late snowfall is called poor man's fertiliser because of its nitrogen content. I'm wondering if a February snowfall has a similar effect.
And yes, it feels marvellous to be getting all growy again!
