It is a heart! Haven't heard of the plant before. Thought it was rhubarb when it first came up on the cave.

I had heard the name Butterbur before but wouldn't have recognized the plant until I saw your post. It has quite an interesting folklore history.

Hello Esther, I think the stems are a bit like rhubarb. Can't claim to have eaten them yet though!

Rooko - do tell :D I love the name anyway, sounds like something out of the Hobbit, and it doesn't surprise me at all there are stories behind it too. Would love to hear them some time!
